Operator and scope
HeartCoach is operated by Zarafah Technologies LLC. This notice applies to the HeartCoach mobile application, account support, and transactional text messages used for account verification and password recovery. HeartCoach is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old.
Information HeartCoach processes
HeartCoach processes a phone number and account identifier; display name, date of birth, gender, sexual orientation, optional religion, self entered city, work, education, habits, interests, preferences and other profile details; profile photos; messages and relationship content; voice notes and optional spoken profile builder answers; coaching questions and AI responses; safety reports; and Apple purchase and entitlement identifiers.
HeartCoach does not request precise device location, contacts, payment card details, advertising identifiers or permission to track activity across other companies’ apps and websites. A city entered by the user is coarse profile information, not GPS data.
How information is used
Information is used to create and secure accounts, send requested verification and recovery codes, build profiles, provide discovery and matching, deliver chats and relationship features, moderate content and profile photos, transcribe audio when requested, generate AI coaching, process subscription entitlements, prevent fraud and abuse, answer support requests and operate the service.
Service providers and sharing
HeartCoach uses Amazon Web Services for authentication, APIs, storage, content delivery, AI processing, transcription and image moderation, and uses Apple StoreKit for purchases and subscription management. Public profile fields and content that a user chooses to send or share are provided to the relevant HeartCoach users.
HeartCoach does not sell personal information. Mobile phone information and SMS consent records are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Phone information may be provided to telecommunications and infrastructure providers only as needed to deliver requested account messages, prevent abuse and operate the service.
AI and sensitive content
Messages, profile content, coaching questions, audio transcripts and relevant conversation context may be processed by AWS AI services to provide moderation, suggestions and coaching. HeartCoach may process sensitive profile information when a user chooses to provide it. HeartCoach is not an emergency, medical, legal or crisis service.
Retention and security
Account, profile, media and conversation information is generally retained until it is removed through the product or the account is deleted. AI coaching records are currently configured for up to 90 days, short lived moderation decisions for approximately 15 minutes and operational logs for up to 30 days. Safety reports and minimal purchase records may be retained after account deletion when reasonably necessary for abuse prevention, transaction integrity or legal obligations.
HeartCoach uses access controls, encryption and security monitoring intended to protect information. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Account deletion and choices
Users can edit their profile, remove photos, manage blocked users, pause discovery, change privacy settings, request access to their information and delete their HeartCoach account from the app. Account deletion removes the authentication identity and user owned application data, subject to the limited safety and transaction records described above. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple subscription; subscriptions must also be managed through Apple.
Verification texts
HeartCoach, operated by Zarafah Technologies LLC, sends only user requested one time passcodes for new account phone verification and password recovery. These texts are transactional and do not contain marketing. Message frequency varies with user requests. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. Stopping texts may prevent phone verification or password recovery. See the HeartCoach SMS terms for complete messaging conditions.
